Hand BLOWN Glass GLOBE Paperweight Button

"CHICK Hatching in the Egg"

- A Paperweight Button with a base, build-up & a clear glass dome -

For this button design, I decided to try something different.

I made a Hand-BLOWN GLOBE Glass PAPERWEIGHT Button with a

lampworked Yellow Chick INSIDE and YELLOW feathers (ome) for the chick wings. 

The outside white eggshell is a White & Clear Glass Scalloped Cane I put over the blowhole before blowing out the button. 

It's hard to photograph 3D glass with the light & shadows dancing in the glass as it creates some distortions.
