Hand BLOWN GLOBE Glass Button

First I made a glass cane STAR image, took little slices of the cane

and placed them them into a transparent blue glass ball on the end of a teeny stainless-steel blowpipe.

I melted everything together & blew it out.

Transparent Blue Glass base on a brass button shank.

When photographing this, as light dances through the transparent glass, there is some image distortion.
